Only Babies Take Third Position

Other day in class Joburg stops the piano player and yells,
“How do we close? Fifth! This is fifth: heel of the front foot touches big toe of the back foot. Right? This is nothing, this is nothing, this is fifth,” she says, moving her front foot into different places.
“Here is another position, it’s called third. Heel of front foot to middle of back foot. Third is for people who are two years old or ninety-two years old. Or people who have major injuries. Not for anyone in my class. I wanna see fifth position, people!”
