    So, like, the second time I snuck over to take pictures of this thing in progress, my coworker was all, “this is why you take ballet, isn’t it? Forget the tergit tays, it’s all about the tulle, isnt it?”
    and I was like, “No! Maybe! What’s a tergit tay?”
    and he was like, “It’s that thing! Where you, like, go to the side or whatever! You’re the ballet person, you tell me!”
    And I was like, “….Oh! Tour jeté! Hahaha! No I hate those things.”

      This is the tulle layers that cover a hoop-skirt, so that when this movie comes out next year or whenever, no one will see hoop-ridges. They’ll see nothing but big soft pouffy skirt and never know that all of this is underneath, keeping things fluffy.
