      Under structures, baby! A year or so from now you might see a movie with a beautiful woman in a ball gown with a huge full skirt, but what you won’t see on camera is the boned satin foundation and all the tulle underneath.

        Ah, thank you! What a lot of work!
        When I was a dancer I once had to “dance” in a huuuge, hooped skirt.
        It was an amazing piece of clothing! Luckily I did not have to DO much in it. :) I think it was impressive enough to just “glide” across the stage in that thing. (I had trouble getting through doorways on the way to the stage)

          Ha! Yeah, the doorway thing is a problem.
          You know about how when French ladies started wearing panniers, they had to invent the French door?
