Time for old shoes to take a long walk off a short pier.

Smirnoff told me before class the other day that It Is Time to get new ballet slippers.
He was all, ‘Girl please! Don’t be tryin to wear them things up in here no more!’
Heh. Except he didn’t say it exactly like that.
But anyway,
I was like, “Whah?!!”
My slippers are only like two years old! They don’t have any holes or anything! I mean, they’re worn and gross and all but I thought I was supposed to wear them ’til they were just scrappy little leather scraps connected with grey-ed out elastic!
Like a Real Dancer!
Dang!
Oh well.
Better get to sewing elastics on that new pair I got six months ago.

hehe.. I was wearing my first pair (capezio black canvas, split sole) for not even a year, but I realised that they just didn’t fit properly – too baggy – and apart from that I wanted pink slippers ;) have fun with the new ones!

Slippers with holes in them are distracting as all get out to actually wear. And old leather ones get too loose, which is probably what he was fussing at you for.

This time mark the insides left and right?
