Come on let’s sweat, baby

This is the plan:
Ride the sweaty subway.
Take sweaty class.
Change, throw sweaty ballet clothes into bag.
Walk around city all sweaty day, carrying bag with sweaty ballet clothes.
Have dinner somewhere air conditioned.
Return to hotel.
Take sweaty ballet clothes out of bag and BURN THEM!

  1. Hahaha I’ve been there. I’m there today, actually!
After three hours of class I’m going to have dinner with two friends… and I just won’t have time for a shower before. NOT.COOL.

They’re probably too wet to burn.

You could always do a Crocodile Dundee and wash them in the tub in your hotel room. If you’re lucky they’ll be dry before your next class.

Ugh. My sympathies on the sweaty day and sweaty clothes. Much as I enjoy summer after a long winter, the sweat factor makes it get old FAST. I came home from class last night sweated up good and walked into our apartment, which my partner likes to keep super-chilled (seriously, my home is a meatlocker), and instantly went from hot a steamy to cold and damp. I’ve been going right upstairs and stripping off my sweaty ballet gear and dumping it right into the washer because I also want to burn it :)

Glad you’re having fun in the big city though!

Johanna (Pointe Til You Drop) said to me once like this: Ballerinas don’t sweat – they Glow :D :D (But today I did feel somewhat sweaty….)
