An exercise in Amplitude

In ballerina class the other day, Smirnoff trying to teach us to express a sense of amplitude.
He says, “you’re offering bread to your guests.”
We offer bread.
He is dissatisfied.
He calls to Best Girl, “demonstrate please. Ok, and again, please, and this time offer the bread to your friend.” (her bf, who happens to be sitting right beside Smirnoff, observing the class)
Big big, grinning, blushing difference.
Class spontaneously applauds the cuteness.
