We’ve been working on something at the barre that is meant to help develop an arc-ing quality to our grande jetés in the center. Smirnoff doesn’t want to see any flat grande jeté like all the young kids are doing these days.

I had a teacher in college who took class at Martha Graham’s (iirc) with Madonna. I bet most people who took at high-end places while she was a dance major could get pretty close to that, though.
Was Madonna good? Did your teacher have any funny stories about corrections Madonna received?
The thing I remember was him saying she invited them all once to see her sing, and how surprised they were cause she wasn’t too social or something like that.
