Bleach had mixed success. Two pairs came out all clean and pretty, third pair I had stupidly worn with a new pair of black shorts which turned out to not be color-fast, and the dye transferred to the tights along the inner thigh, which is Totally Unacceptable, therefor they are officially ruined.
Bummer.
Just wear the ruined ones underneath a chiffon skirt, and nobody’s the wiser. No sense in dropping another fifteen bucks for a pair that’s still intact.
Hmm. Good point. Have been wearing black tights instead lately, they somehow feel more winter-like.
dye them totally black, cut toes off and heel and keep ‘em for warm-ups…..
